Mashup
Coca cola and facebook are both on their path of globalization. Perhaps no products is more embedded in the history of American culture than coca cola. But in order to influence other culture Coca-Cola has adapted its logo design for international sales, taking on the appropriate writing style and language on bottles for more than 200 countries worldwide. It is an excellent example of a truly global brand embracing multi-cultural marketing.
However facebook has failed on this one. As of today 8pm Chinese time Facebook seems not to be accessible from most parts of China Mainland anymore."How can you connect the whole world if you leave out a billion people?"Mark Zuckerberg told a group of entrepreneurs at Stanford University last fall.
Take Two Interactive announced today not just the launch of NBA 2K Online -- an online basketball game for the Asian market -- but also the creation of Take-Two Asia, a new satellite office for the BioShock publisher.
